Spotted something on the site that should be fixed, added, or changed? Send it in — this page tracks every suggestion and what happened to it.
How to send a suggestion
Email it to the Troop Committee at TXTroop700Committee@googlegroups.com, or reply to any troop email and mention the website. Include which page you’re looking at and what you’d change. Everything that comes in gets added to this list, along with what we did about it.
Status key: Done — it’s on the site. In progress — being worked on. Waiting — needs something from someone (a document, a decision). Not planned — we decided not to, with a short note on why.
Docs page
- Done (Oct 2, 2026) — Add the Eagle Scout Michael C. Williams Memorial Scholarship so everyone can find it. From Carolyn. Now at Docs → Scholarships.
- Waiting — Add the updated Eagle Project Sponsorship Application form (with the new thank-you-note requirement). From Carolyn. Will go up as a download as soon as the updated form is ready.
- Done (Oct 12, 2026) — Add the new Code of Conduct. From Carolyn. Now at Docs → Troop policies, with the PDF to download.
Whole site
- Not planned — A comments or suggestions section on the website itself, behind Members Only, with a section for each page. From Jacqui. The site is intentionally simple — no logins and no comment system — which is what keeps it free and easy to hand to the next Technology Chair. Adding one would mean a third-party service or custom code to maintain. This page is the alternative: suggestions come in by email and are tracked here, with a note on what was done or why not.
