Congratulations to our recent Eagle Scouts!
Since 1912, the Eagle Scout rank has represented a milestone of accomplishment—perhaps without equal—that is recognized across the country and even the world. Since its inception, only four percent of Scouts have earned this rank after a lengthy review process. Those who have earned the Eagle Scout rank count it among their most treasured achievements. “Eagle Scout” is not just an award; it is a state of being. Those who earned it as youth continue to earn it every day as adults. That is why an Eagle Scout IS an Eagle Scout—not was.

For her Eagle Scout Project, Aurora created 70 take home STEM Kits, each with 12 experiments and accompanied by instructions and videos for VAST, an after school program for economically disadvantaged elementary school students in her school district. She is very passionate about STEM and hopes to spark a similar interest in students.
Kaitlynn built community cat shelters for Prairie Paws, her local animal shelter located in Grand Prairie. The shelters will be provided to volunteers in the community who take care of the feral cats, providing the cats a shelter in the winter months.
Michaela built a Gaga Pit for the Bedford YMCA.
The Eagle Scout project served the GRACE Community Gardens. The Gardens produce over 1500 pounds of organic produce each year and the harvest is given to the GRACE Pantry so that those in need can be provided with healthy, organic produce. The project was held over two weekends and the volunteers removed and replaced 10 garden bed borders.
Abby put together 200 hygiene kits for the foundation Streetside Showers. Streetside Showers gives homeless people a place to shower and the things to shower with, such as soap and shampoo.
Kate built two picnic tables and one compost bin for the Nature Center at Holy Trinity Catholic School in Grapevine, Texas.
Riley’s project was at Holy Trinity Catholic School. She painted a gazebo, and repaired the fences around the AC units at the front of the school.
Elizabeth’s project was renewing the surface of a nature trail at the Jane Goodall Ecology Center behind Grapevine High school
